DESCRIPTION:
Chelsea Clock Co., Boston Mass. for Jaccard Jewelry, Kansas City, "Babro #44" mantel clock, 8 day, time and house strike, jeweled balance wheel movement in a polished mahogany case with silvered dial and blued steel hands, movement serial number 125279. Chelsea only produced this line for 6 years, so this is not a common clock.
CONDITION:
the solid wood case, silvered dial and beveled convex glass on this example all are in very good original condition. Small loses to black within some of the numbers on the dial. The jeweled movement ticks and strikes, but was not tested long term.
